Do you love NYC?

I just returned from NYC and although I had a wonderful time I don't know that I'd like living in a city that large.  However, everyone you meet that lives in NY or was born and raised there seems to love it and wouldn't live anywhere else.  Your thoughts?

I love New York City, love the shops, love Broadway shows, love the restaurants.  Would I want to live there, no way.  Love to visit, but would rather live where I do.

Never been there, but after visiting Boston last year, big cities in the Northeast are not on my short list of places to travel to. I would rather go back to Seattle again and it's easy to drive to for me.

I love NYC for melting pot of people, the place to see what the world look like. When we all get to heaven NYC is the place to get the idea. :icon

I LOVE NYC!! Im from Staten Island and I miss NY every day  We were just there 2 days ago only for a brief time but it was great to be back home!! If I ever become rich or hit the lotto I would move back there in a heart beat and buy a loft in the city

I've always wanted to visit NYC. I don't think I could ever live there though.

I love NYC as a place to visit.  I probably would not want to stay more than a few months though.

I have friends who live in NYC, some love it and some hate it.  I don't mind it - it's fun to visit, though I doubt I'd want to live there.

I have never been to New York.  Would like to visit it someday.  I doubt that I would want to ever live there.  I am a city person, but I don't want to live in one of the mega-cities.

I have never visited or lived in New York. I know it’s ranked one of the nation’s largest city. If I have the means to travel, I would like to travel to the east coast and see for myself.

I flew to New York and spent 24 hours there.  Everyone seemed rushed and "cold", compared to the small town I live in and I have no desire to go back.  People in the small town where I live smile at each other and wish each other a nice day.
