Smoking
« on: May 27, 2013, 07:20:10 pm »
My husband and I just got back from visiting my niece.  She is 45 years old.  She has a husband, two grown children, and one grandchild.  She was diagnosed with Stage 3.5 of a fast growing form of lung cancer three months ago.  About a month ago, the cancer was changed to Stage 4.  She is now in end stage with just days to maybe weeks left.  She cannot speak above a whisper and that is hard to understand.  I know how hard it is to quit.  My husband and I used to smoke.  We stopped several years ago.  If you are a smoker, please do yourself a big favor.

Yeah it's a bad habit with numerous health issues attached. Fortunately it's not as popular as it was decades ago.
