Download flash player for Radio Loyalty pop up-virus?
« on: May 27, 2013, 10:32:13 am »
For the last few days when I go to radio loyalty, a pop up appears that tells me I need to download flash player.
It blanks out the radio loyalty page so I can't ignore it.
When I close the page it has another pop-up that says "Wait! Are you sure you want to leave this page?"

I already have flash player, and it's updated.

So what gives? It acts like a virus pop up.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. This is the 3rd time I've had to download Flash Player for RadioLoyalty and also to be able to view ads on my other site. I already had Flash Player installed and it was the latest version but once a month (ever since I've started using RadioLoyalty), I am told that Flash Player cannot be detected. So, once a month, whenever I get that message, I just delete the Flash Player that is already installed on my laptop and I re-download/re-install the latest version. Only takes a few mins. If I don't do that, I can't listen to RadioLoyalty anymore (black screen), I can't click the ads on my other site (which require Flash Player), and I can't watch any videos on any website. So, I have to do it. Doesn't damage my laptop, no viruses, and it's a quick process....so I don't mind. Up to you whether you do it or not. :peace:

I haven't re-downloaded it (flash player) because after I get the pop up and close the window, I open the Radio Loyalty page again and it works fine.

That's what makes me think virus. If it was legit, I would get the pop up to download flash player every time I go to Radio Loyalty. And that doesn't happen.

It happened to me too and I did start it to downloading and then realized what it was.  I uninstalled it but I still keep getting pop-ups about it.  Very frustrating!!

After I got it the first time I went to adobe.com and updated flash player.

I'm still getting the pop up too.

I have had a big problem with viruses since using the radio loyalty.  I have decided it is not worth the money to worry about the possible problems.

I too have begun receiving pop ups that are Rated X - I don't go on anything like that and nobody else but me uses this computer so I'm afraid if it continues I won't be able to continue utilizing the radio player.  I think I'll contact support and find out what's happening.

That is NOT an Adobe Flash commercial, it is BOGUS as the day is long and loads malware (tracking) crud on your system. I hate this ad and wish site owners would banish it to the hell is came from! Just my thoughts... :D

I've been getting popups recently from Radioloyalty too. There's no signs of viruses yet (thank god), but if I ever do get a virus from them, I will never use them again. It's not worth it.

Radioloyalty used to be good and didn't have annoying pop-ups. I'm very disappointed that they changed this   :angry7:

I've gotten that and just reopened the radio loyalty page with no problem.  if you know you have the latest flash player i'd just try closing and reopening again as well
