Macy's or Nordstrom - especially during a 14 hour or weekend sale.

There isn't a Macy's where I live. I usually shop at Sears if I need something I can't get at Walmart.

I worked at Sears for 17 years till they closed our store this january 2013.  Sad day.  Now I have to go other places to buy anything I need.  Very strange for me  lol

We don't have a Macys in our town either so I'm limited as to where to go,,,,  Kohls is about it or Walmart :(  I don't go shopping much  lol

Macys feels a little higher, but they are also better laid out and seem to have better quality. Unless I am looking for appliances the Sears near me seems a little run down and I haven't seen many good sales there as of late.

I really don't shop at either one. They are both too pricey for me and the stores are set up in a very cramped style.

Sears cycles through good and bad times.  They are currently in a good cycle, but Macy's is consistently good.  Now I want to shop.

I never shop at Macy's.  I occasionally shop at Sears, but the one I go to never seems to cool it very well, so I tend to not stay long.
