Another note - if you can find honey made locally, it will help with allergies because the bees use the local flowers (allergens) to make the honey.

Thanks again for the information.After reading this thread last week,I started drinking the honey and cinnamon.So far so good.I've lost 3 pounds since last Saturday.I drink it once a day,half an hour before breakfast.

My mother suffers from hay fever.  Living in Illinois most her life she's had to stay indoors through 1/2 of July up till the first frost.  Which is difficult for her since she enjoys putzing in her flower garden all season long.  She had a friend that owned a honey bee farm.  Every summer we would travel up the road and she would buy a jar of fresh honey.  She had been told that if she drank a T. each day it would help combat hayfever.  The honey had to be from the area.  Ha ha "be" no pun intended.  She did that for years and it seemed to work.  So sad the lady passed on and her son who was keeping the hives moved and bought property somewhere else.  I don't even know if he's still bee keeping these days.  I'm a firm believer in honey, cinnamon, turmerick, onion...pretty much anything that's natural is good for us.  That's why God created them.

I agree that these two things do great things for our health.  And of course the doctors won't tell you that as it would take money out of their pockets.  I firmly believe prescription pills are killing millions of people every year and the doctors don't care because they are getting rich off of them.

while it true to much sodium is bad for you most people do not know that salt (sodium chloride) is very good for them. action potential of the muscle and nerves is run off the na+ and cl- ions so limit the sodium preservatives and increase you salt intake

I also try to use honey and cinnamon when I cook.  When I bake salmon, I put a little lime juice and spices then honey goes on top before I bake it.
