Well, just not being an adult is the way I would put it I guess. Not worrying about saving up for things, love life, just the future in general. And I agree, I miss having the energy.

I miss the part about not having bills to pay and just having fun.  However, I had kind of hard life as a kid in that I was tormented by my friends and classmates.

That is not much fun.  And this was due to being different, all due to my being "wired" differently.

I miss the energy, the innocence, and the awe of discovery.  But; mainly, I miss my parents as they are no longer here..... :'(

I don't miss much about being a kid because, even at fifty, I am still pretty much a kid.  Having two children allowed me to stay young.  Most people who meet me think that I am in my thirties because I am full of energy, obnoxious and almost always playing pranks.  I guess, if there were anything that I missed about being a kid, it would have to be the somewhat large amount of lack of responsibility.  Going to work at two jobs everyday is less than fun but I know that my family counts on me.  This isn't to discount the life that kids have to live...forced school and homework as well as chores...it pretty much evens out.

I miss the energy for sure!  I also miss the simplicity of play.  It seems the years tend to decrease my ability to be imaginative; I remember having a very active imagination as a child.
