I always wear a seat belt.  Even If I am just going down the block I wear a seat belt.  Accidents can happen in seconds.

At first I would only put it on sometimes, now I got use to the idea and I put it on all the times and I make sure everyone in my car has it on too.  :)

Yes, it look me along time to get use to wearing one but now I don't feel comfortable not wearing one.

I never wore seatbelts until I had children and still do so just to set a good example.  I personally don't believe in the safety associated with seatbelts.  For every story about someone flying through a windshield, I believe, that there is another story about someone who unnecessarily suffered from wearing one or became trapped in a situation that they may previously been able to escape.  I think that the seatbelt laws were enacted to make more money for insurance companies, are one more decision/right taken away from us by legislators that are trying to justify their position, and should be a person's choice to wear or not.
