They might be talking about the little stack of coins after the FC Surveys... If so, they mean that you get a penny (.01 cent) if you disqualify.

If you are talking about the coin icon on surveys, it lets you know that you will get 1 penny for disqualifiying

The coins when you do not qualify for a survey are the only ones I know about.

It means you get paid 1 cent regardless if you attempt the survey, regardless of whether or not you qualify.

Yes, what the others said are correct. It's either you are thinking about the FC surveys, or you are thinking about another site.

If you try a survey and don't qualify you will receive a penny.

I am glad that FC gives you penny even if you do not qualify some sites you do not get anything
