people who have gotten it in the US compare it to any other type of flu, just maybe a little bit more severe. The media has really made a huge deal out of a little thing...

"a little thing"?  people are dying! "just a little more severe"? I should say that 'DEATH' is  "just a little more severe".

Except the media is covering the whole thing, not just what is happening with it in the US.  And outside of the US in many countries it is a huge deal -.-

i live in ny and my best friend works in a doctors office and she said one of the patients has it but they're not supposed to tell anyone. i think there's probably a lot more cases all around the US, they're just keeping it quiet.

My boy (11) had a virus this week and he kept snorting, and telling people it was because of swine flu. lol
Whenever they blow things out of proportion on the news (Sars, bird flu, swineflu) I keep a closer eye on what is going on in government. A little distraction goes a long way.

Except the Swine Flu is known to target young, healthy adults....not something the "regular flu" typically does.
