Oh yes I remember. Especially the one about the barn. Because I said so, never did make that much sense to me . NOt much of a reason. We can't forget the one"I guess if your friends decide to jump off a cliff, you would just follow them too. MOm always had some good sayings. Thanks for the memories.

I don't celebrate Mothers day.  However I show my mother how much I love her and care for her for everything she did for me when I was under her care.  Now that I am an adult I celebrate my mother though out the year, because she deserves to be appreciated everyday weather its just dinner, a card, or a gift of some sort.

I did not know how much I really appreciated my mother until I did not have her, I was young and you know how kids are, but we owe everything to our mothers!  Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there.

I think my mother used about 20 of those 25 sayings on me!! I could not understand them then and I still Don't understand them now!!

oh yes i can remember saying a lot of those. I even used some on my kids.  Even though she has been gone 37 years i can still hear her in a way when i am getting on tomy nieces and nephews. Miss all the stories that she and my grandparents used to tell.

Of the 25 mentioned, I have heard 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 24 and 25.  And I will add this one:  I learned how to IMPROVISE from my grandmother.  She told me many a day, "Learn to eat what is put in front of you or go without!"  I learned that lesson well.  I learned to eat fruit because of her cooking.  She has been gone 23 years now, but I loved her.  LOVE YOU, MAMA!

Priceless.  My mother didn't necessarily say those things, to me; however, I can appreciate the humor and the fact that motherhood can be a very challenging job.

Such a great list. I owe my mother my life because without her I wouldn't be here since she first of all gave birth to me and a several years ago saved my life when I nearly died. I owe my my other all that I have. I am so grateful to her for everything she has done for me and don't know what I would do without her. Thank god for Godly, lovely mothers!
