I live in a small town. It is usually quiet. We may have a little problem once every 6 months.

I haven't experienced a new degree of crime where I live.  It seems like things are normal as far as the crime rate varies depending on how large of a city you live in and what part of the city.

In my area there's always loud sounds or just police sirens going over my place a lot so I'm guessing there's a lot of crime in my area.

Do you have a lot of crime in your area, or are you experiencing new crime?
We used to have a pretty quiet neighborhood, but lately there have been some incidents.
I live in the country and don't have many reports of crime. There have been occasional thefts, but none of my close neighbors in several years. One of the reasons to enjoy the country life. I am several acres away from my closest neighbor. I don't have to put up with loud noise, but I do have a problem with stray dogs. That is a downside.

crime is everywhere.  More than what we are told on the news.

We just moved about a month ago, but so far this seems like a much quieter neighborhood than where we were.  I am very content in my new apartment.  In the old apartment complex where we came from, it was getting very bad.  People would just gather in the parking lot at night and drink together, and it would scare me because you could see them get in their cars and say they "were making another beer run."  I am so glad I am where I am now.

speaking of strays, there is a little dog in my yard right now. no idea where he came from.

i have lived everywhere, city and country. i live in the suburbs now and wish i could afford the commute to be even further away. when i was younger, i loved the city, now i want to return to the country.

Typical juvenile delinquent crime in our neighborhood which tends to disappear as soon as the kids grow older and more responsible or move off to college. We left our garage door open for two hours, two months ago, and I came out to find that my garage refrigerator was missing a twelve pack of beer and two bottles of wine. Shame on me for leaving the garage open...I guess complacency and trust in my fellow neighbors got the best of me and my better judgement. It is too bad that you have to worry about trivial things like locking your doors or closing your garage door.

i live in a small village of a larger town.  We don't have a lot of crime, the usual kids trying to break into cars or garages once in awhile.  its usually pretty quiet :)

the more you get into the bigger cities around us the crime starts to become bigger.  glad I live in my small quiet town !!!

Way too much crime. I am trying to move to the suburbs. There just aren't enough cops who care in the inner city. Most of them are simply overwhelmed.

I live in the country and there is not a lot of crime here.  The biggest problem we have is that my husband's cousins would wreak havoc.  Unfortunately, he (one of three) died nearly two months ago from cancer.  The other cousin went to New Jersey, clowned, and got beat in the head.  It did something to him; instead of learning his lesson from that, he is worse.  I tell you, one night, he stood outside the front door of our house swearing obscenities.  I called him "Brother Psycho" because he walked up in the house one night and scared the beJesus out of my husband and me.  These are people who like to call the police with foolishness, taking them away from the more serious crimes. :o ??? :o

The area i live in is real quiet and calm--i do live across the street from the police station but it is a good neighborhood tho--i have lived here for 18 years and very little crime around --thank you Jesus!! now downtown Louisville someone gets killed nightly!! its just crazy--and home invasions lately have sky rocketed!! a sign of the times i guess

Are you from Louisville, KY?  I'm a KY girl, too.  I was born in Louisville and have many family members that live in and around Louisville.
Have a wonderful day!
