My 18 volunteers with a rescue cat group. She told me that yesterday they climbed up the back of her pants leg. Also that they have a fetish for her shoe laces and keys. Cats love anything soft and that makes noise. :cat: :cat:

There is a solution to the cat problem. It is called OUTSIDE.

My cat loves to carry his toy mouse around and leave it various places (my shoes, my bed). I think it is him giving me a gift, lol.

Right now I have four cats, but they're not my first kitties.  My first cat was very polite and would walk around my papers, even if I was sorting them into piles all over the floor.  He'd carefully walk between them.  My current kitties are oblivious to such thinking.  In fact I have one who will sit on my closed laptop if I don't watch out.  They all have their individual ways of being with me or getting my attention.  Magic likes to rub himself on my feet or get me to massage him with my foot, but shies away from mushy hugs and kisses.  His brother likes to cuddle and goes under my covers at night.  My siamese brother and sister like to lay on my hip when I sleep on my side.  Sweetie comes to me when I go to bed wanting to be petted and rubbed, a lot.  Her brother will pin me down by settling on or between my legs, as soon as I crawl in, before I get settled.  He's also very fond of working with his paws and will push things, like my coaster, off tables.  I could go on, they're such characters.   :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat:

I experience the same thing! L0L....My cat lays in all my papers or bags.  Then rubs herself all over my laptop at times. Love my cat!

If you spray a little ammonia it will repel them.

haha just move it out of the way. Humans have more power over these so called cats.

Really?  You obviously do not have a cat.   ;D  They, in their minds, are to be worshiped.   :notworthy:

My cat loves boxes, always trying to curl up in one whenever he finds one open. About a year ago, we had purchased new karaoke equipment (new speakers, soundboard, stands, etc.) all of which came in fairly large boxes. The next day when I came home from work, I found that my cat had created his own "club house" with those boxes... Not only was he camped out in there, but he had also dragged his toys (which I've never really seen him play with), his blanket, and one of my socks (don't know why only one sock -- perhaps it has my odor on it?) in his little fort.

My best friend also has cats that are fascinated by boxes.... A few weeks ago, she was trying to pack some jars of homemade applesauce to ship to a friend that lives out of state, and one of her cats curled up in the USPS box she had been trying to pack. My friend took a picture and e-mailed her friend saying "If it fits, it ships. Sorry about not sending any applesauce, but I hope you like your new friend!" (No, she didn't actually ship the cat... Although her friend did reply after the package arrived mentioning something about being disappointed that they couldn't meet the little critter.)

NO I haven't had a cat since the dogs ate her. She mostly would knead you with her claws to get your attention.

my cat is ALWAYS in the way.  If you are busy and trying to do something, there he is!  he is always laying on stuff he's not supposed to, like my entertainment center or my night stand.
