Spend some time clipping coupons.
« on: April 22, 2013, 08:29:00 am »
:thumbsup:Today we are all very busy with our lifestyles and having more responsibilities, however, we can still try to squeeze some time to clip coupons if we had to and had no other choice. If you think about it, you could save a lot of money and more or likely you wouldn't default on not doing it anymore. Try it and maybe you will be happier you did. I never use to use coupons, but I learned from my husband, because he came from a poor family.

This is So random ,but It you live were there is a Kroger. You should obtain a 1-2-3 Rewards card. it is a Kroger plus card with the availability to hold digital coupons and double and triple coupons as well as cash back with some promotions. I was pleasantly surprised with a $5 bonus just for using my card and loading it with cash. No monthly fees when you use the card at least once monthly. I just wanted to share we my FC Fam!!

It is so worthwhile to use coupons.  I have been using them for years to match with sales and store/mfg promotions.  I have received so many household, H & BA it items that I have been able to rely on my stockpile for years.  It's so nice to  be able to use my supply of shampoo, shaving cream, razors, body wash, household items, cleaning products etc., without having to shop for these for a number of years.

Our local grocery store used to offer "cents off" food for buying your gas there.  Now they send coupons in the mail.  They're good coupons and I use them, but I think they figure most people won't bother so it will cost the company less than their other program.

agree I get two sunday papers love the cpns everything else is boring. you can sometimes use a walgreens store cpn with a regular cpn and I was just thinking looking at the cpns here on this site that at swagbucks you'll get I think 10 points for every cpn used from that site.

I should try using coupons... A lot of GPT sites have coupon print out, which will not only save but give some points in your account for using it... The major thing stopping me is that I don't buy a lot of stuff and I never used any of the products that have coupons =/

Careful to notice if items have an expiration date before stocking up too much.  Most deodorants have expiration dates and do go bad after those dates.  Shampoos/Conditioners as well as fabric softeners/liquid laundry soaps, lotions...the fragrance tends to change (go bad) and product doesn't work as well after the expiration date.  Toothpastes, mouthwash, sunscreen usually has an expiration date.  Something alot of people don't realize when they start stock-piling deals and then don't care because the stuff was a "deal".  It's not a "deal" if it's expired and not working...

I use coupons all the time. I even email my favorite companies
And ask them to mail me some coupons. I received a lot of great
Coupons and sometimes free products and coupons for free items.
