Do you hang out with your co workers outside work?

I have never spent time with my co-workers outside of work hours.  My family needs me more.

There's a group of us that gets together once every two weeks on paydays to go out and eat enjoy one another's company.

Occasionally...I would say once every eight to ten weeks. Even that is too much and proves to be a chore. Sitting around at a bar, talking about work, getting drunk and saying stupid stuff isn't my idea of the best time. I would much rather behome with my family or working or sleeping for that matter. Any night out whether with friends or work colleagues wastes a day in recovery.  I went out with my wife and some of her friends for a Birthday party.  My original plan was to finish one project and head off to work for four to six hours. I have finished the project but am really not motivated to go to work because I am still slightly hung over.

I only hung around with one other female after hours.  Her husband and mine became good friends so we get together once every other week and do something.  She has become one of my best friends, as far as all the other coworkers, never hung out with them.

i have a co-worker who i started taking zumba classes with,
and she was the first person i hung out with from work.
we're the only two who are right around the same age,
so we have a lot in common. we've went out to eat and
shopping since then, which was nice.

there's one other co-worker who is older with kids
and we've met at the bar a few times to get all of our
work-related issues off our back. she's the only one that
i truly trust! the rest of my co-workers know little about me.

I don't make it a habit of hanging out with co-workers, my family and friends take up most of this time. The other times I'm home resting.

I will go to lunch with one or two of them once in a while. Never outside of work hours though. I kinda think it is best to keep work/personal lives separate.

Not really only because a lot of them live in different states.  We say we want to plan to go on trips together but it's hard matching up our schedules.  Sometimes if we have time during a work trip we will hang out and maybe have dinner or drinks if we have a long layover after we get off and if there are things to do in the city we are in at the time.

There is only one that I hang out with outside of work but she was
my friend long before I worked with her.

It has been years since I have spent time with co-workers. That being said I also have employment that doesn't have much contact with co-workers. I work individually with clients doing caregiving and community inclusion for 2 of my jobs, although I sometimes see other co-workers in passing we don't spend any time at work together and I don't know much about them. My 3rd job I work as an executive assistant to my boss. No other co-workers besides my boss. He is a very likable guy but doesn't make sense to spend time outside of work with my boss. I am mostly surrounded by clients or those that work above me.

yes I had dinner with my boss and his wife and family a couple months ago.
