Boston suspect
« on: April 19, 2013, 06:42:14 am »
Can't believe what I'm watching on TV.  It's like a war zone today.  I pray they get the last suspect before he kills anyone else.  He has stated "you killed my brother, I will kill you".  He has vowed to kill more.  Please God, protect all the law enforcers that are trying to capture him, please keep them safe.

I don't understand, they have interviewed kids who went to school with the younger one.  They state he was a good kid, never a problem, liked by friends!  The father, who lives in Russia, said he talked to both sons yesterday.  Both boys were calm on phone, father asked if they were at the bombing, both said no, they don't attend those functions.  Father is very upset, but claims neither could/would do anything like that.  Father said he wanted son to give himself up, and return to Russia.  There are two sisters living in US.  Father said if we hurt his younger son, there will be hell to pay!

I hope the police catches him too. The father in Russia need not to come to the United States except to pick up his son's body.  Then again, maybe if he comes to America, he can convince the younger son to give up without having any more bloodshed.  I hope this nightmare is over soon. ???

It is so stupid to commit a crime at a public event so large as The Boston Marathon.  Thousands of cameras from every angle are recording everything going on.  Technology is available to enhance pictures to positively identify anybody.  These guys wanted to be caught, at least the older one did.  The younger one I think just stupidly went along with what his brother wanted to do.  Too bad.

@Nancy5 - Another weird thing is the father said that his son has a bright future ahead of him.....is he serious from what just happened?  Yeah I believe the two sisters live somewhere in New York.  Both of the boys also told the father that "everything is good daddy."  It's horrible that these events are happening on (what seems like) a weekly basis.  To give you the truth - it's happening as much as Carnival Cruise which has keeps having problems.

I wouldn't put much faith in that. I saw people standing on the street corner in my town today holding signs calling for war with Czechoslovokia....which hasn't even existed in years, and isn't the same thing as Chechnya.  ::)

Chechnya is a part of Russia that has been trying to break away for years and where these kids came from when they were children. Russia has dealt with the Chechens rather thoroughly in the past, and they don't take the time to separate the guys who deserve it from the people who are uninvolved. "Brutal" is an understatement for some of what happened there at the height of the conflict, on both sides really. Which is why a lot of uninvolved Chechen families who could do so left in the first place. There's generally no great love for Russia there.

That's China that's buddies with NK, and really their only reliable ally. I don't think the Chinese look too kindly on these guys, seeing as one of the victims was a Chinese national. If, and that's a big IF, NK was in any way involved....Ooooops.

So many possibilities, so much speculation, so few actual facts. But much as I don't trust either of them as far as I could throw them the last place I'd look personally would be Putin or Kim for these reasons and a lot more, and if any link comes to light I'll be very surprised....and skeptical. I'm not even sure their motives matter, really. Evil is evil, and dead is dead. Why give whatever their "Cause" was the attention they wanted? But that's just my personal opinion.
