Who Waited Until The Last Day For Taxes?

This past year was a weird, unorganized year for me. I always have my taxes finished as soon as I get all of my W-2s and tax forms in the mail. This year I ended up screwing around and waiting until the last minute (4:30pm on the 15th) before I got them into one of those walk-in tax places. Luckily the lady was very fast and I was finished up in about 15 minutes, but I ended up way more stressed than I needed to be all because of my laziness. Did anyone else wait too long to get filed?

I waited this year and I always do, just not in a hurry to file but get them done by the 15th.  This year I was real late not until the 15th, but it's done thank God!

I did my taxes right as soon as I got both of my W-2's from both of jobs. I do my taxes myself so just sit down for a little bit and complete it. I figure it is easier to just get it done and out of the way.

I waited because I had to pay to the state but got back 31.00 from federal. last year was able to claim my son as dependent but not this year.

I finished mine a few weeks ago, but since I owed, I didn't mail them until the 15th.

I ended  up mailing ours out on the 13th.  Yep, we owed money.  Don't even get me going on the tax issues....I pay, pay, pay, and the people that don't pay ANYTHING, get it back because they have made having kids making a living!!!  What is wrong with this country?

Got mine done end of January, but we had to pay  so I didn't send the check until April 12th

So, far the past few years I told myself that I was going to do my taxes as soon as possible or at least by mid-February at the latest.  Well the past few years, I have done it at either very last minute or in the case of this year within 12 hrs.  Last year, I submitted electronically within an hour of midnight.  I am generally a huge procrastinator.Anything I hate doing, I tend to procrastinate.
