count calories (try not to eat over 1200 a day)
buy an outfit you want to wear in the smaller size you want to be able to fit and post a pic of your ideal body on your fridge
cut out fast food, sweets, soda, and alcohol or at least limit it
exercise- move, move, move! if you don't have equipment take a walk, do jumping jacks, just move- daily.
put lemon juice in all your drinks as a detox
do a colon cleanse- do this if you do nothing else, I use Body Gold from walmart, 75 pills for $10, take 5 every night

Let me know which tips you try and how they work out for you.  Mind if I ask what you're preparing for?

Eat your fruits and veggies, drink at least 8+ glasses of water a day! Depending on your height/weight and physical activity you may need to up/lower your water intake! You can do a FC search for water calculators to see how many glasses would be good amount for you! :) :) Also take a daily walk!  :) Good luck! You can do it!

Drop junk food and soda if you consume much of these - and walk every day or at least every other day.  These combined with trying to eat a well balanced diet seems to work for me.

The best way, push away from the dinner table!  Seriously, drink lots of water, eat fruits, vegetables, salads with low fat dressings, or oil and vinegar.  Don't eat fried food and don't eat fast food, candy, cookies, chips, all the "good" stuff.  Then try going for a walk, that will also help.  Good luck!

My boyfriend is trying to lose weight and he thought if he skipped meals he would lose weight but he ended up gaining even more. It is important to eat three meals a day and eat at least three snacks in between. Protein fueled meals like fish peanut butter and lean meats really help.

Eat fruits, veggies, drink water, and running/swimming will burn a lot of calories.   :thumbsup:

Stick to a Mediterranean diet - lots of fresh vegetables, fruits and proteins, like fish and chicken.  Use no butter or fattening oils and no white flour, bread, or cakes; no soda pop or alcohol and no sugary drinks; drink plenty of water.  Also exercise on a daily basis - making sure to get 30 mins of cardio every day and strength training (like weight lifting) 3x a week.  You should see results that you will like and you will not be hurting your body either.

Weight watchers works really well for overall healthy eating and creating good habits. When I first started I lost quite a few pounds the first few weeks because it was such a drastic change in my diet. Do simple things like a walk every day- even if you only have 10-15 minutes it will help and be a healthy habit to start

1.) Excerise for 30 min or 1 hour (or more) every day
2.) Cutdown on excessive eating
3.) Cutdown on junk/sugary/fatty food (eat healthy)
4.) Eat zero calorie foods (like celery.... no dressing)
5.) Eat protein based food... I heard from somewhere that people easily burn the calories of protein than fat
6.) If you feel hungry, drink water to fill yourself until next meal (I heard athletes used this method to lose weight because it helps take your mind off of eating and you can always lose the water you drink)
7.) Drink coffee/green tea (at least 5 ounces) to speed up body's metabolism
8.) Eat at least 1200 calories a day... Anything below 1200 calories is starving and it can create stress (which in increase disportion fat around your body, like it adds more belly fat)
9.) Get more Vitamin C and D, and fish oil in you diet

 A lot of people don't realize that skipping meals is the worst thing in the world to do.  Also, eating 3 meals a day is not good.  The best way to drop weight fast is to eat at least 5 SMALL balanced meals a day.  Six  is even better!  Lots and lots of water; no soda or sugar, and you will be amazed! :thumbsup:

drink lots of water,exercise, cut back on portions eat lots of veggies and fruit. when I get hungry I eat celery with peanut
