Gold and Silver prices
« on: April 15, 2013, 08:49:25 am »
Wow, gold and silver are taking a big dive!

Markets must be manipulated, silver eagles sold out in Jan and are VERY hard to get.  Prices should be going up!

Anyone else collect gold or silver?  Anyone have any old silver dimes or quarters (pre-1965) they want to sell?

I'll take em all!

I have old silver pre-1965 coins, but I don't want to sell them! I'm trying to get more too! The prices seem to fluctuate a lot, especially for silver. I'm sure they are being manipulated by the rich investors.

The only "manipulation" is that the economy is improving. As long as that continues, gold/silver prices will continue to fall.

My wife went out the other day to have two gold metals (st. Christopher, Mother Mary) for our grandchildren that are making their Communion in may, she went to a jewler in the area and he wanted to charge $65 dollars just to put a clasp on a gold chain and get a new chain for the second medal. Just for the clasp on one 10K chain and another 10K chain would run almost $300. This is crazy, I remember when you could get a 14k chain 18-21in for about $65. She did not purchase the chain. She is going to use an existing chain that she has to have the Second medal put on to.

It all sounds great to be able to have some gold and silver as an investment, what are you going to do if and i said if Obama says he doesn't belong to you and you have to give it back without any money comming back too you. I believe in hiding and not telling on some items.
