While collecting shells
washed upon the beach,
you will see a few that are fragile, and you might neglect them as unworthy.

But once these shells were very beautiful.
You don't know what kind of journey they had
to take to get them in there fragile shape.

Same with people. Don't neglect them if they seem unworthy.
You never know what journey they had through life.
Be kind to all.

That is such good advice - hard to do at times.  My religious/christian beliefs/bible suggests this type of treatment of people but it is certainly not easy sometimes but I try.

I try to be fair with most people and be open minded, but there are some people who drive me so crazy and offend me in such a way that I cannot think of them beyond someone I dislike.

The world we live in today makes it hard to always be kind to humans. Animals is a different story, humans should always be kind to animals.

Thats a good point!!! Some people dont know how to be kind, I was that way but Im not anymore. I couldnt can’t afford to acknowledge how horrible they’re being, because, deep down, they already feel terrible about themselves.

Words to live by! Treat others as you would like to be treated. It certainly does not hurt you to take the time to say a kind word or gesture, because I believe that your goodness will be returned to you. A Blessing for a Blessing.  And I would like to say God Bless You for this posting. We all need a reminder every now and then.

Your right we need to be kind to one and all, never leave out the elderly, the sickly and the poor. The more kindest you dish out is the more you or your children will benefit.
