I purchase the toothpaste with the best price. I like to go more natural like Tom's.  If my gums are giving me problems I use baking soda with water to brush and apple cider vinegar to rinse and in two days my gums are back to normal.  My dentist suggested peroxide and baking soda when I have a problem with my gums but I don't like the peroxide idea.

It doesn't really matter to me, whatever we have in the house is what I'll use. Usually I'll use Crest but Tom's of Maine is my backup because that's what my father likes. He likes this brand a lot because Tom is his name and we used to live in Maine.
