Yup, I'm with you.  I prefer the Reds, too.  They're more sweet, in my opinion.  I don't like the bitterness I always taste in the white wines.

I love white wine, for some reason all of the red wine that I have tasted is always dry.  Now if someone can offer a great red wine to try that is sweet and light then I will be ready to try.  I just love the smooth fruity taste, so if it comes that way I have 2 glasses (LOL)###

What do you think is more classy, red or white?

I like both types but I guess white is my favorite; but not all white wine is good to me.  I love sweet moscato wine.  There's several brands that are not good but I have found several that are:  Barefoot is one of them.  Its not too expensive like some of the others.  Barefoot also makes a red moscato that is pretty good.  Wild Vines has a really good Blackberry Merlot that is sweet and not dry at all.

I too like both, but I do not really drink that much white wine. I don't know the rules of what to eat with red or white wine. I drink more red wine because it is supposed to be better for your heart. I go for the flavor and Arbor Mist has some really good ones. Blackberry Merlot, Pomegranite Berry, Strawberry. I go through phases. I used to drink the Franzia in a box, but burned out on it. I used to really like Rosae, but don't care for it so much now. UBe40 Red REd Wine.

For me it really depends what type of red or white we are talking about.  It also depends on the season. I have a hard time drinking any reds in the summer especially if there is even a decent Pinot Grigio or Reisling around.

I think it depends on what I'm pairing it with as well as the time of year. I too feel that white wines are better suited to summer while reds are for winter, since the whites tend to be sweeter and fruitier while reds tend to be dry and spicy. But I guess in general reds since they tend to have a more deeper flavor to them. But I still tend to prefer fruity flavors in wines, so Cab's tend to be my favorite since they usually have good, dark fruit flavors (eg cherries and plums) in them.
