Cremation or Burial ?????
« on: April 01, 2013, 03:43:32 pm »
Which do you prefer cremation or cemetery burial ????? As for myself I choose cremation (ashes to ashes), besides its less expensive for my family.I prefer that my life insurance be used for my family to keep going even after my death . I can't do anything with ....God will and has provided for me . Being real .loving every minute of it .     :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11: :angel11:

I want to be cremated it's cheaper and I can't see just sticking thousands of dollars into the ground like that.  Either that or I will donate my body to medical science.

I have always wanted to be cremated mainly because of the cost of a funeral.  My husband had been against it but he is now coming around to liking the idea.  I wanted to buy little crystal heart holders for the ashes to be given away in.  Everyone else thinks that is a little morbid, though.
Have a wonderful day!

I'm leaning toward cremation because it's a lot cheaper than a burial.

Sorry, have to disagree with everyone so far.  My father was killed in a fire, burned so bad you could not recognize him, my mother had to identify his body by his belt buckle and they also used dental records.  For that reason I have a very unnatural fear of fire.  I have a fireplace in my family room which I will never allow to be lit.  For that reason I have to choose to be buried.

I know my loved ones would like to see me for the last time in the event of my passing, so I would prefer to be buried.  I remember a lady I knew had cancer and passed.  She decided on cremation before she died, but they had a funeral so her loved ones could see her for the last time.  Her great-granddaughter was pregnant, and her baby is the spitting image of her. :peace:

Definitely cremation.  It's cheaper, not to mention the fact that your loved one can move any where you do.  I'm so sorry I never had my daughter cremated.  She's buried in a state I no longer live in and I never get the chance to visit her grave anymore.  It really bothers me!

I want to be cremated,  and my ashes to be scattered or in a small urn either way at the site of my children with a small plaque with my name and simply worded united again.
We should never have to lose our children before we pass ;but when the good lord calls them home. it hurts but they are in a better plce. I miss them everyday.

Cremation.  I have no desire to be preserved for all eternity.

Thank you Dbenjamin.  I was a child when it happened, but I can still remember that night.
