Heard an ex(if there is such a thing)cia guy on a news broadcast say he didn't think the school one happened.  I am not certain, but it is a fact that alot of our upright/trustworthy/loving leaders are milking the tragedies for all they are worth to disarm the people they are supposed to be serving(while at the same time having personal bodyguards and in some cases buying weapons).  Not too mention HS preordering enough ammo to fight a 100 year war.  I just wonder what their end plan is?  Pretty Spooky

Lol those in favor for no gun control, imagine a world where everyone you walked past was armed. The way our human emotions run on primal instincts, we'd be shooting each other up in no time. You look at an elementary kid the wrong way and he'll blow your brains out, that's not the kind of world I want to live in.

"Mentally Disturbed", you ever wonder how people get that way in the first place? Oh yeah, it's us "normal" people who either ignore them or pick on them in our herd mentality bullying that gets them to that point.

It doesn't matter what the law says about guns.  If someone wants to get a gun and kill people, they will not say "oh, it's against the law to own a gun now?  Never mind.  I'll let these people live".   Taking away our right to own a gun is only going to *bleep* people off and the criminals will still have them.

guns should be for hunting only and every city should have a ware house to store them in and an attendent to sign them in and out

In my opinion, I believe their should be gun control But only to a certain extend.  If you are hunting, you do not need an automatic with more than 2 -5 rounds and you do NOT need a high powered rifle for hunting. As for background checks, I totally agree with that. As for the ones that have mental issues, I am kind of in between on that and it depends on the individual. which I mean by that is I know a few people that are bi polar and love to hunt. they keep their guns locked up and only time they take them out is for hunting season. I also know OTHER people with bi polar I would DEFINITELY NOT allow to even let them keep a gun in their house!  so as to my opinion like i was saying, I think like some said is no matter what they do, they will NEVER keep guns out of the hands of the ones who insists or are going to commit crimes or even murder. They will always find a way to get one I dont care WHO they are. Ive seen it a lot and know of a couple people who have been thru this. Im sorry but this is just MY opinion. And everyone is entitled to their opinion. and yes... i AM a hunter.. lol Maybe I should have left this topic alone but I felt I needed to put my 2 cents worth in. No offensive to anyone. ;)

I could never own a gun. The reasons are as follows:

1.)  In order to become proficient at firing them accurately, you have to practice, practice and pratice.  Plus, if I were to use them for protection, I would have to also put on my glasses to see clearly to avoid missing.  Plus, I could not live with myself knowing I killed someone.

2.)  I have asperger's syndrome and sensory processing disorder condition, especially to sounds.  Loud sudden sounds really disturb me.  I have to take Prozac to keep myself
from going schizoid, which I have done, if I forget to take the pills.  The noise creates that much anxiety for me.  I hear every sound and I cannot filter it out to save my life.  The problem is especially bad if the background noise is very loud.  Actually, I think I may have High Functioning Autism, which is slightly worse.

3.)  As a result, I am kind of self-centered.  I am better than I used to be.  The point is that I could never stand the noise from a gun.  I would have to wear ear muffs to use one at all times.

4.)  The stories I read about with people who use or have guns.  It is usually the children who end up getting killed or someone else in the family getting killed and not the criminal.

5.)  I do not think that people who own guns are generally responsible enough and so I think that strict gun control needs to be enforced.  I think it has gotten out of hand.

we need less guns and more laser weapons. Bullets are a waste of money and are messy to clean up. Lasers are better for the environment and clean burning.

I think it is pretty well spelled out in the constitutions 2nd amendament.  Nobody gets to make laws about it.  Course that won't stop them from taxing it to death now will it.   :BangHead:

Taking people gun away from everyone will not stop the ones that want to harm people.  There is other ways to do it.  If they take our guns away from us, then they need to take our cars away from us because more people get killed in car wrecks than being shot, and then need to take planes out of the sky, and Most of all, they need to do away of abortion.  There are millions of babies aborted.  That is murder anyway you put it.  An unborn baby is a human and people kill them before they are born.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

You don't know what you are talking about.  I got to gun shows all the time and we are all armed. It is the most polite place I have ever been to. So don't talk from your  :bootyshake:...

I believe it is every American's right to own guns and firearms.  However, I do not believe we need automatic assault rifles/guns.  I am a license concealed weapons carrier and I carry a handgun with me everywhere I go.  Although I live in a fairly safe community, you never know who/what may wonder in from outside my community.  I would not hesitate in a split second to use it if my life or the lives of my loved ones were in danger.
Have a wonderful day!

Human beings are ignorant and they tend to keep proving it.  Taking guns from innocent civilians will not keep criminals from getting them and it will only cause chaos and a much more dangerous world for us to live in.
