so tired but can not sleep

My hubby has this problem, Luckily, I do not... I'm always looking for things for him to get a good nights sleep...

Glad to meet a fellow insomniac.  I have yet to find a way to sleep through a night.

I can relate to being tired and not being able to sleep. For some reason and especially lately it is taking me at least an hour or longer to get to sleep even though I am very tired. It even took me a two hours to get to sleep. That was very frustrating. Sedatives have an extreme effect on me of making me so exhausted that I can't get up in the morning so I'm not sure how to conquer this right now. My mother told me try an oriental tea at night that helps her. So I'm hoping that will help me to get some better sleep.
