online audiobooks

Does anyone know of any places online where audiobooks can be listened to for free?  I have a half-blind boyfriend and we so enjoy audiobooks.  He is a member of a program where he can get them from the state, but he enjoys them and goes through the books as fast as they can send them out.  We like them not only for the enjoyment of the books themselves, but it is so easy to play a book while doing whatever else around the house.

Yes.  There are a few places that have them.  Are you familiar with torrenting?  Pirate Bay has audio books.  I must warn you, though, the website has a lot of ads for "singles".  You will see what I mean.

I do not think you need a torrent program.  I think you can download them without it.  There is also a website called "Kickass torrents".  (Kat.ph)

But, I am pretty sure you need some sort of torrent application.  Utorrent has a free program to download.  It is easy to use, and once you get started you will be amazed at what you might find with it.

Aside from online audiobooks, the library has free audiobooks you can borrow and e-download. Why don’t you try it?
