Why would I get a book in a language I don't understand?   I graduated several years ago (more than I want to admit), and I never learned another language in school.

No, I have not bought any books in another language.
I did not take foreign language classes in High School, because they didn't have the one I wanted to learn.

Probably not. Even though I've had to take Spanish classes from 7th to 12th grade, I'm not at all advanced in the language enough to read a book in that language.

I took French many moons ago, and will read short stories in French.  I also watch many foreign films.  I am currently trying to learn German.  I have a German-English dictionary and have been reading a few books that are in English and German.

I don’t get to choose. But if a book is not available in the English language, I resort to reading it Chinese. Back in college I have taken a course in French and have considered this idea of testing my French reading level but have never done it.
