So again, when a theist shares his/her opinion then that's okay and should be encouraged because their opinions are not hurting anyone. When an atheist shares his/her opinion (which is naturally a form a dissent) then they are intentionally harming other people and should stop, right?

Having faith and miracles DOES hurt. It takes place of actual faith in humanity, which is a lot more real and a lot more reliable. Believing in fairy tails is not a substitute for real hope and real achievement.

We no longer live in a time where we have to conjure up our "best guess" as to how things came to be. We have scientific evidence to rely on; we've matured beyond our need for primitive, childish beliefs as to how the world works. Well, at least some of us have.   That you feel you have to ask WHO created the universe shows how uneducated and ignorant you are.

while i happen believe that god and the devil are nothing more than than constructs of the human imagination, you should not be putting down anyone's beliefs. whether you believe the universe was created by an all powerful omnipotent being or came about as the result of the explosion of a super massive singularity, we should take the time to marvel at the fact that and we are here at all. faith as never is never bad as long as it good and true and you use it to make yourself better, not hurt others.

Though I partially agree with you, these two statements are why sometimes putting down someone's beliefs is sound judgement and beneficial.
