It is affecting most in a lot of ways. I'm not trying to depend on the government to fix it anymore that is for sure. It is a process with each individuals hard work hopefully we will all survive. It is hard to think about why it is like it and how much we could've prevented it a long time ago. Our economy sucks and its our own fault.

Here's my take: I'm online trying to make enough money to supplement my husband's unemployment check! We've moved from our beautiful 4-br home to a 1-br apartment and we've exhausted our savings!  :BangHead: State of Economy? State of EMERGENCY! :dontknow:

I have to agree with phatkitty!  I'm trying to suppliment my husband's unemployment check.  He has applied for jobs over and over again, to no avail.  I can't work outside the home because I'm paralyzed.  We've lost our 12 acres of land but at least we were able to keep our house.  We didn't file bankruptcy, just had to sell our property (and not at a very good profit).  We've exhausted our savings and now I'm scared because we never have enough to eat as it is and the unemployment is running out.......

Around here everything is going up, but our paychecks stay the same. Where do they expect us to get the money from when they increase everything but our checks. I don't know the secret ingredients to growing a money tree. Does any out there have it or have an idea on how to grow one?  :angry7:

I think that we could be doing better. They say we're getting better but every time i turn around i hear of more and more people getting laid off.

I doubt the economy will ever get better. If by chance it does it will take a very long time. I just hope it doesn't get much worse and I hope Obama won't keep getting this country farther and farther in debt.
