I love to garden, but of late I am pretty busy to do it... Looks like fusion cash is where I spend my days...until I am bored.

Just bought more seeds and pots today.  The packet of organic cucumber seeds came with a bonus pack of basil!  I also bought my pumpkin seeds.  I am so excited.

I have my tomato, pepper, carrot, scallion, kale seedlings going already.  I just have to start my new vegetable plot next in a fenced in area because of the deer.  I am also involved in transitioning a 30 year old Hosta garden because the deer ate it all down to the ground the last two years.  Trying to use deer resistant plants.

I do believe that spring is finally gonna get here in Southwestern PA.  So if it holds, I will be planting next week.  That is transplanting all my seedlings from in the house to my yard garden.  Can't wait.  Wanted to make sure we
don't have anymore "frost" before we transfer them.  Its always so exciting to finally get those little guys out there and in the ground.  Always have my grandkids come over to help and they bring whatever they have been
growing from seed at their house also.  We always have such great fun.

Gardening and I have a unique relationship.  My mother has a green thumb.  Her yard is so beautiful people actually stop by to talk to her about it when her toosh is sticking up in the air and she's pulling weeds.  Growing up I had no interest in gardening.  In my teens and 20's I enjoyed mowing and weeding but other than that.  I found it boring.  I'd rather be inside painting or crafting something using the trampoline as my saw horses.  In my late 20's early 30's I had a huge yard.  I had again no interest in the landscaping.  Now getting closer to 40 I'm kicking myself in the tuckus.  My husband is a landscaper...I actually designed his website and find myself out helping him 2 or 3 days a week in the busy season.  Sometimes I feel so dense not knowing what to do.  I just stand there waiting for instruction cause I don't screw anything up... I mean these are paying customers ya know.  I'd go with annuals if that's what your looking for.  Any home or lawn and garden store should be able to point you in the right direction of what to buy for your landscape.

I love gardening. It makes me happy and save me a lot of money on groceries. I can everything for the winter. I have a small yard and crappy clay soil, but I built raised beds that helps. This pics are my garden in June of last year. I planted my stuff this year and it's already starting to come up.

Do you love gardening or planting? When is the best time to start planting flowers?
I love flowers very much. I wondered if anyone can tell me which flower or :dontknow: which bulb
that best to plant it and forget it. I need flowers that will come back every year. Do anyone
knows which one? :dontknow: :-[
Depending on the region of the country you live in one of the easiest flowers to plant and maintain is the tulip.  Here in Iowa there is a tulip festival in Pella every year. It is beautiful.  The whole town is full of tulips and the Dutch heritage is celebrated.  This is the most colorful town you will ever see in the spring is Iowa.  If you ever get a chance to go you will not be sorry. :)
