Thanked you all for all those lovely comments! I love gardening very much and it made proud after i saw
those plant grown and harvest. Flowers are part of my heart. When i see them bloom my heart bloom too
I have two haert shape flower bed in from of my house, so i have to plant flowers on them. They bring
beauty of my front yard and also the entire house.. love u all very much!!!

Which flowers are your favorites to grow?

Mine are Passionflower, Iris, Crocus, Tulips, and two vining plants I cannot remember the names of....

Of course I also love growing roses.

My mom always gardened until the last couple of years due to her health.  I started gardening a few years bank on my deck because we live in a condo.  Last year I had about 60 plants on the deck we grow a lot of differnet things mostly veggies.  At my mom's we have a large garden, we still keep up her three gardens.  One we just mantain because it comes back year after year.  It has some of the plant cuttings from my grandmother that had many flower gardens along with a large veggie garden.  This is were I learned a lot about gardening and I am trying to teach this to my son.  I want him to be able to pass this on to his children.  I think that it is very important to teach children the importance of and the joy of watching things grow.

Yes, I really love gardening and everything about it. I like gardening with flowers the best. I love planting the seeds and waiting to see if the flowers actually appear as the picture on the seed bag, NOPE  . I like taking care of the flowers and I like all the changes that occur, like during the springtime when they really look good.

I have to confess, I  do not like gardening much. I have been planting pots of herbs on my deck. I love to cook with fresh herbs,but they are so expensive to buy.

Does any one know why my basil turned yellow and got holes in some of the leaves. Thanks.

Do you love gardening or planting? When is the best time to start planting flowers?
I love flowers very much. I wondered if anyone can tell me which flower or which bulb
that best to plant it and forget it. I need flowers that will come back every year. Do anyone
knows which one?

If I were to do any gardening or planting, it would be in pots, not a large garden.  I believe perennials are the plants that come back every year. You'll have to check with your favorite gardening center or do some online research, as for the right bulbs to use in a particular location of your yard as far as which ones would be best (shade; full sun; partial sun, etc).

The only kind of gardening I like is the veggie garden. I dont like buying mine at stores because of the pesticides and hormones and stuff they use. But when I do grow the veggies at least I know what im using. As flowers go, I like to do the ones year round. That way I can just forget about them and see them every year when the bloom. lol Yes they are very pretty but just not my stuff

I really enjoy gardening too at least when the weather is nice. I have tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and iris out front. I like growing my own food but I am not very good at it.  I never seem to have as productive of a crops as other gardeners. I am still learning.

I've always loved to garden and have managed to find a way to grow something wherever we've lived through the years.
Today I put in a bunch of summer veggies:  several tomato varieties, Japanese eggplant, peppers and some basil.  Can't wait to put that eggplant on the grill - Yum!

Does anybody know of a variety that might do OK in a shady spot?  I have a fair bit of available space for planting but it's mostly shade.  Might have to stick to flowers there.

I like gardening sometime only.  My dad use to do all the work for me.  I love to see the pretty of the flower grow and love the taste of some of the fruits that I plant.

i love flowers but i dont garden i use to help my mom as a child and it should be something i do with my daughter maybe when she gets older thats something we can do together

I've tried a few times, but failed miserably.  The only thing I can ever get to live is succulents.. hehe  Would love to be able to grow some vegetables, but I don't think that'll ever happen.
