Have you ever been stung by a bee?

Oh yeah!  Happened pretty frequently when I was a kid...barefoot and all.  Then a couple of times since I moved to Ohio and spend a lot of time walking around in the grass.  I am not alergic so it wasn't much of problem except it hurts.

Last summer was real bad for yellow jackets.  The guy mowing our pasture as stung 3-4 times when he mowed over the nest, then my husband was stung.  Later that day I bent over to pull some weeds and felt like I had been b---tch slapped - 3 stings to my cheek, eyelid and chin.  Forturnately I had just brought iced tea to the guys so I grabbed the ice from the glass and slapped it on the stings.....I am smarter now.  I go armed with stick and a can of wasp spray.

I have been stung by bees and wasps. The most recent was I was cleaning my balcony for a party and a wasp landed on my leg. I went to kick him off with my other foot and he held on and stung me. Either way I probably was going to get stung by him. The area around the sting went numb for a bit,

I don't remember ever being stung.  I remember a few close calls, but never actually being stung.

Knock on wood...I have never been stung by a bee. This is always the fact I use when I have to "say something interested about myself" at a party or what not
