I have traveled quite a lot and have lived in 3 countries. I have only been in the US for about 18 months. I cannot get used to all the rules and the high cost of just about everything. I think every country has its good and bad to get used to, but at heart, I'll always be a South African and if the circumstances would allow it, I would move back there in a flash.

I don't think I knew to another country I like United States of America and flashlight do you see Americans going to other countries or do they fight to get in this country who let. So I don't see why I would want to leave this country because we have everything you need freedoms as long going get rid of Obama in 3 1/2 years!

I love to travel, but if I could still get my disability payment, then yes I will move to another country.  I am not sure where, but it will be somewhere hot...

I would never move to another country. I love the USA. I really feel that there's no place better even with all our problems.

I would so move to somewhere in the Carribean.  I love Belize or Roatan.  Both places are beautiful.  Grand Caymen is also beautiful.

I'm applying to a post-grad program in New Zealand so hopefully I get in and can then hopefully start a new life there!  :peace:

I really just want to work for their NatGeo unit, and the program I'm applying for works directly with them. It would kind of be my biggest dream come true.

I always used to think I would never consider moving to another country, but I have been told it is so much less expensive to retire other places, that even on a modest income one can live extremely well.  After visiting places like Costa Rica which has a democracy-based system, warm and friendly people, along with extremely beautiful scenery-- I can understand relocating.  I love the USA, but it is getting less retiree-friendly, both financially and politically, all the time.

I would consider it but I will probably stay in the states. I've lived in Spain for just over 3 months and that was definitely an enjoyable experience but it's a much different lifestyle than the one that I enjoy here in the US.

My wife and I have talked about working in different countries.  She works at the world's largest engineering company and it is easy to get hooked up in so many different projects that are going on. Our children will be off to college soon and I think it would be cool for them to come visit us in different parts of the world for their breaks. Plus I have heard that eighty percent of the money that you make out of the country is tax free...kind of a nice bonus. I think it would be nice to escape the ever-more constricting laws that seem to come in with each new administration.  I think that being in another culture would also help us to broaden our cultural horizons. Things seem to become so status quo when you are working in the same environment for decades.

I have been only to Canada in my visit outside the US. I think other countries are nice and I wouldn't mind vacationing there, but honestly I feel so comfortable living in the US and am so used to American culture that I would prefer to live here the rest of my life. If I ever did move to another country I would prefer to live in a place that had a similar culture to the US.

No I can't imagine actually doing that or really even wanting to move to another country.  I don't think things are perfect here but I can't imagine going somewhere with a different culture and customs and where I didn't even know anyone.

Sure I'd move under the right circumstances.

It's a big world, why limit yourself?

Personally I wouldn't want to since I grew up here.  I worry about making a right turn on red after hearing my friend tell me how she got a ticket because there was an arrow and that meant no turn on red despite there not being a sign that said that.  If that little thing stresses me out, I can't imagine how stressed out I'd be in a foreign area where I didn't know they basic laws.
