I would love to learn other languages.  I know some Spanish and speak Choctaw (American Indian).  Except when some of the older relatives are around I don't get to use the Choctaw.  The Spanish I have learned just by living in Southern California.  In this area it is hard not to learn some Spanish! But I would like to know it a lot better.  Oh I also had 3 or 4 years of it in school.  In high school, my best friend's Dad would sometimes on a weekend speak only Spanish to us.  That was to teach me and just generally improve her language skills!     When ever I have  traveled, especially in Europe all the young people come up to talk to you, just to practice their English.

I took Spanish in school all those years ago and don't recall much of it - not enough to carry on a conversation, that's for sure!  I'd love to relearn it and be able to put it to use.

My husband had to take a language class when he returned to school to get his Bachelor's Degree, and he chose American Sign Language.  How cool is that?  He really enjoyed the class and was able to go to Deaf Culture events where he was able to sign to others.

My teen son is in his second year of Chinese and is excelling. He writes better in Chinese than he does in English.  lol

I  would like to learn Spanish. I took a semester of it in college and made it out with a B. I tried to the second course and had to drop out. I couldn't understand how to conjugate the verbs and grade started to slip. I have some CD's I may try to use and I will look for websites that will help make it easier.

I would love to learn another language.  All my grandparents came from and spoke German.  My parents, aunts, uncles naturally spoke English, but German was spoken in my grandparent's home.  My cousins, siblings, and myself learned to speak and understand it.  However, all my grandparents are dead for over 30 years and I have forgotten most of it.  I guess if you don't use it, you will lose it.  :'( :'(

I took Spanish while I was in high school for 3 years.  Not fluent, though.  Would like to be one day.  I have lots of time on my hands right now, so this would be a good time for me to study.  I would definitely do a 3-month immersion program where I got to live in a Spanish-speaking country.

I only speak England.  I have never tried to learn another language.  We have a lot of mexicans that live here.  some of them can speak England good, some can't .  I work at Walmart and see alot of them.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

My first language is arabic,  but now I have forgotten most the language and would love to learn it again.  I have hard time communicating with my parents because they barely speak english and I barely speak arabic.  Most times we need translater to communicate and it is really sad.

I know a good amount of French, enough to understand what is being spoken.  I also know some Hebrew, some Greek, and some Italian.

I am currently learning German.

Yes! I'd actually like to learn 2 new languages, Spanish and Korean. I've been studying both for years and I'm not too bad at them, but I'm not that good either.  :crybaby2:
