So Another Winter Storm And All We Get Is Rain! Snow All Around Us Again!

We are suppose to get 1 to 3 inches or snow/rain?  So far nothing!  According to the weather it was suppose to start 6 hours ago.

We got 4 inches here.

We had a lot of rain yesterday and last night in Knoxville, TN then overnight the snow started. We ended up with only a trace. Now the snow is just about melted.

Though we have got nothing as of yet. 1-3 inches predicted, the schools in my area were let out 2hrs early. And there is STILL nothing. So here's hoping if anything we'll just get rain. I'll take it. But you know what they say... "March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb."

They just updated our forecast, instead of 3 inches to nothing!

As much as I hate snow and cold weather, I am glad that we have been having it.  All of the snow is helping get us out of a horrible drought.  It is much needed.

       It all depends where you live. It rains if it is warm enough...if it is cold-the precipitation comes in form of snow or freezing rain.

It rained quite bit late yesterday here and then changed to snow during the night.  This morning we had about 4 inches of very wet snow and it mostly didn't melt all day because the temp never went above freezing.  It's supposed to get warmer here in southwestern Ohio on Sat. and Sun.

No storm in NY. There is some snow on the ground but that has been here. Its melting slowly. Its  suppose to warm up this weekend.

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour this weekend. Its that time of year again. The days will be longer.

we currently have 3 weather advisories and the storm hasn't even started. coastal flooding advisory,wiinter weather advisory and high wind warning. All 3 are thru Friday. This is going to be a long storm and they are saying we may get 2-4 inches or heavy wet snow or we may get nothing . Depends on the rain/snow line.
In many ways this storm may be worse than the blizzard we had last month. I prayit stays south and goes out to sea.
