Loan Modification

Has anyone done a loan mod if so what was your experience  good, bad how long did it take I'm
trying to do one with my bank and getting so many different answers in researching I saw it can take 2 to 5 and that only about 5% are approved what a joke!!!

I have not personally done one, but have heard both good and bad about them. Be careful of the bottom line sometimes they get you in the end.

I went through the Making Home Affordable Modification process.  It was VEEEERY extensive.  After literally 2 months of providing documentation and filling out forms, I was denied.  It was devastating.  It would have been worth it, though.
