Software Testing (Task)

Might as well say "Hi El, How are ya" more than likely you'll be reading this and hopefully YOU can give me the info I'm seeking, along with others of course... Here's the question; Do you and/or anyone-else know anything about the "Software Testing" job(s) that's on Tasks... They want you to download software to check-out a new media player... I was able to get as far as the download but after setting it up, it would not run and I have no idea where or how to find a "code" for CrowdFlower.
Any Help ?  Thanks-A-Bunch

 I've found out ya gotta keep trying and/or keep coming back to that one to (hopefully) get in, but again, how to find the code at the end of it is tricky, if at all there is

I know how you feel and what you're talking about! I installed the FLV player THREE TIMES and carefully examined each step and read all the text of the pages... and I could NEVER find a code either, so I was unable to submit it to receive the credit. It really aggravates me because I did the task but I won't be paid for it.

It almost seems like the FLV team has incorrectly described the process to CrowdFlower intentionally so people are downloading their software but they never have to pay for the users installations. I have a mind to notify CrowdFlower that the task is impossible to "complete" the way it is advertised as and workers are not getting credited.

Thanks Elisajoy for your input on the software testing. I am I little suspicious of  downloads.Since you say they do not work anyway I think  I will concentrate on proven tasks. Thanks for your advice since you are the "task guru".

For me those tasks are very frustrating and I don't bother with them anymore.

I've been avoiding these reasons because I suspected I wouldn't be happy -- so nice to be vindicated.  Thanks for the great input.

I've also had trouble with the tasks where I've had to download realplayer.  I've never gotten credit.
