Satellite Radio Or Free

I used to have Satelite Radio, but I found the channels repeated the same music or topics and it is not free.

I do however like HD Radio and that is free.

I think it is different for everyone and their situation.  Currently I have no desire for satellite radio, but I am trying to get a job that will have me traveling a lot and then satellite will have a whole new purpose.

I'm old fashioned:  "What?!  Pay for radio?"  With that said, I was going to do a cross-country drive this fall and seriously thought about subscribing to satellite radio.  That way I could listen to lots of different music that I liked and talk radio programs that I listen to.  I drive pretty frequently between San Francisco and Orange County, CA, so I might consider satellite.
