I went out to my car to go to my last half day of work before getting off for Christmas and, even though it was below freezing and raining last night, I didn't have to scrape off my car.
Plus my boss surprised the staff with bagels.

FC makes me smile, most of the time …….

My sweet grandpuppy made me smile today. We keep her for my daughter whenever she is on the road with her band, and we have probably had her about 50% of her life, so we really miss her when she goes back home.  She has been having a flea problem for several weeks, although we have put good quality flea meds on her to kill them. So we are in a routine of getting out a pan of water and dishwashing soap, spreading out a blanket and giving her a good combing with a flea comb.  She hadn't been to our house in several days until Christmas Eve, so getting to do her flea combing was a treat for me.  She always makes me smile.  (Found only 2 fleas today!)
