Craigslist seems more hit and miss since it's local.  Ebay is better if you have a specific item you're looking for to get shipped to you.  Both serve their purpose though.

I trust EBay More than Craigslist.  You take  chance trading wit either but EBy seems more organized and controlled.

I haven't really used either site so IDK. I use Amazon.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

Depends on what I am trying to sell.
I have good luck on ebay with smalls and good luck on craigslist with bigger items.

I use both. Ebay has a broader exposure and Craigslist is easier for things that need local contact.
i vote for ebay, you get much more exposure and more selection.

I think you have a much bigger market with eBay and the chance for better money. Craiglist is local and you have a better chance of getting rid of something  quick but a lot of scams...

EBAY is the one I prefer.  I sold and purchased on there and it figures out the shipping cost for you.  Craiglist is great for large items that cost a lot to ship.

It depends on what I am selling. If it's too bulky or inexpensive, I use craigslist and meet at a local populated location for the exchange. For something that I can easily mail or that will bring more money, I use ebay. Their fees are getting up there though, so I've been looking into selling on amazon.

now a day i think ppl use craigslist more but ebay is the best site to still buy and sell

I think ebay is better simply because u have u item sent to u, u don't have to meet the person like u do on cregslist my husband uses ebay a lot to sell item i like it to buy crafty thing so while he is making money i am spending it  ;D

I am pretty much an expert on this subject!!!  I lost my job and being a single mother, I immediately turned to selling the stuff I had bought over the years.  You will always get more for an item on ebay, so I sell clothes and video games, anything semi-small on there.  You list 50 listings per month free, so I ALWAYS make sure I use all 50.  It's free and gives me a chance of making money, right?  Craigslist is easy, because you don't get charged fees and one person can buy several items.  HERE IS THE KEY... meet people in a public parking lot!  My listing state that I meet all of my buyers in a strip mall parking lot.  I get SOOOOO many good quality people who are also skeptical of people's intentions.  Since they don't have to fear you and you don't have to fear them, you get many more sales.  It is how I have made my life work!  Toys, all big baby items and home items like comforters, etc. all sell on Craigslist.  I hope this helps!

I trust ebay more I think.  Less face to face time, which could be dangerous!

Rather stick to ebay. There's just something about craigslist that I don't trust, whether it be as a buyer or a seller. At least with ebay I have some form of monetary protection.

You can't really compare the two. Ebay has a wider audience and craigslist deals more locally. They're there to fulfill different needs. Whats great, though, is that because of these differences there is opportunity for arbitrage.
