Mu budget is so tight as it is, they gas prices going up is going to screw me up so BAD.  I hate the gas companies and their excuses for raising the prices.  I wish we could boycott the stations, but unfortunately we need gas to drive, I cannot take public transportation to get to work, if I do I will need to leave my house at 5 am to get to my office by close to 8 and viceversa in the evenings.  Unfortunately pay the price is the best option for me an my family but I will growl and complain to anyone who may listen

The high prices are caused partly by the refineries changeover to the summer gasoline, quite a bit by the speculating on the market, the lack of drilling in and around the US and the oil companies have almost nothing to do with it.

I heard that foreign countries were buying winter gas from the US. Don't know what that actually means. Maybe someone can explain. Anyways that could be the cause of rising gas prices.

25% of my paycheck goes toward gas to get to work. It's a vicious cycle.

I just paid $105 today. It's tons of fun when I pay over $100 because the machines cut you off at $100. So I have to go through the same process to start filling up again, assuming I want a full tank.

You can find me on Youtube!

I wonder if we will ever be able to not rely on foreign oil.

I don't know what we can do but crap we work five days a week and half of it goes to gas so than we have to cut back just so we can keep our homes and electric.  Even eletric has gone up and my husband got a cost of living increase of $14 a year so that doesn't help much and I don't have a income except what I do on the internet.
