Please allow us to thank posts. Admin/Kohler please read

Hi. I've seen on other forums where you have the ability to thank a post that helped you in some way. Some of the posts are informative or interesting and I think it would be good to thank the member not just in word, but by clicking a thanks button and showing their total thanks. Also like on some forums you could see how many thanks they gave others.

Admin or Kohler could you please implement this to the site? Of course your posts would and could be thanked as well since you both are considered members of the forum and not just staff.

i second this motion!!  i think that would be a nice polite thing we could do and it would show others how many people on here are thanking certain people for their helpful posts.

Absolutely like this idea! I noticed people don't reply to post where they asked a question, and you answered them, so perhaps this would be a easy way for us to respond to posts we appreciate and like.

I don't know what's so new about this.... I've been thanking fellow FC members who've responded & helped me since I've joined. To me, saying thank you is  understood & don't think additional implementation procedures are needed. I'll just wait & see what K & FC staff say.

It's not a new idea no. But it goes beyond just making a simple post to say thank you. You wouldn't even have to post. You could just hit the thank you button. This would also help show who are the more helpful members and contributors. It just goes beyond a typical thank you. Just like some forums have a karma reputation system, points system, etc. A lot of forums have reward systems for their contributors. There would be no problem with implementing this. It would be good for the forum.

Actually the rating applies to the thread itself. The thanks would apply just to that individual post that was being thanked and not the thread overall. So a rating wouldn't be as applicable in this case. But thanks for your suggestion.

I thank Fusion Cash all the time for being a great site and allowing me to make free and easy money. Also when I read a good post, I try to let that person that posted it know that I appreciated it by saying "GREAT" post.

I  do understand why you would make that suggestion. It would also make those helpful posts easier to find. That is a good idea in my opinion.
