Do you believe opposites attract?

I believe it is possible i guess but i also feel that is false some opposites i would think fight a lot and not balance each other out what you guys think?

   Nope I don't believe that opposites attract...I mean you's have to have something in common to get together in the first place, so already its wrong...lol

I believe that opposites attract as the Universe is always attempting to create balance; however, I also believe that like attracts like.

I believe that when opposite qualities attract people together they often end up in a codependent relationship.  It can lead to a difficult relationship if these people NEED each other more than they want to be together.

Like attracts like when people share a common interest or carry a similar energy.  After studying numerology I recognize that if both people are a life path of 2 they both want to give and receive love....

A great thing to have in common for a personal relationship.

I have heard two schools of thought.  The first is:  Opposites attract because since they are opposite, their relationship will definitely not be boring.   If they are the same, then there is no excitement in their life.  Nothing to argue about. 
The second is that isn't the reason they are attracted because they are the same.  They share the same attitudes, beliefs, principles, etc. 

I do not know which to believe.  I guess whatever works and as long as they are happy with each other.

They must because my husband and I are about as opposite as you can get and we've been together for 16 years lol

Opposites can attract for a three day weekend but long-term.... I'm skeptic. I just don't think a relationship or even a marriage can work with two people having different ideas about having kids, religion and general things such as hobbies.

I have a hard time of it sometimes. My huband is so laid back and i am wanting things done asap. I am up at the crack of dawn to do things and he sleeps in. Then can't understand that by 2 pm i need a catnap while he takes a 3 hour nap on the weekends. Sometimes i will make a lot of noise when he is sleeping. Then he gets up.  Oh us ladies have our ways.
