Are you motivated to loose your winter weight yet?
« on: February 07, 2013, 02:30:51 pm »
I have gained 15 pounds and feel horrible, but yet don't have the desire to do anything about it.  Any suggestions as to what can help get me motivated any?   My husband is completely fine with the way I look, but I think I look awful.  I'm just always tired and lathargic!!!  HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

That is why they call it self motivation. But I do 12 minutes of exercise each and every morning to get my brain working 33% better. Some times I workout longer. I do work out five night per week as well but then I feel lazy at times. So night workouts all depend on my mood and self motivation.

Being active actually does help you have more energy. You have to make up your mind that you need to eat better and exercise. Other people can't do that for you

I've been exercising regularly for the last year so that helped minimize the holiday weight gained and I've already lost it by going back to my regular rountine

I am almost 42 years of age and I am also working on losing weight. you have to work harder at it in the winter time than any time else. there are warm days in the winter and they would allow you to get some walks in.

It's so hard to workout sometimes, it definitely takes more motivation. My suggestion is maybe get a workout buddy to help hold you accountable. And schedule your workouts around your life like you would any other activity so it becomes routine.

I'm lucky I didn't gain any weight over the winter.

I think this is a huge problem for all women.. Most of us Men think our wives or gf 's look faboulous, but you Ladies thinkk you are too heavy, or could use a few pounds.. My wife works at it slowly.. but she looks as Sexy as the day we met 6 years ago that I keep telling her.. :dontknow:
