I keep it in my car for when I go through the car wash to get the salt off my car.  Comes in handy

I save it!!  Wait and cash it in when I have a decent amount.  My husband is always asking...Where did my change go?  LOL..You would think he would have it figured out by now.

I save all my quarters and dimes and keep the nickles and pennies in my purse.  It is amazing how quickly these add up.

I keep a coffee mug at work on my desk that I throw spare change in and then I have a jar at home that I throw change in. It adds up really fast- once they start getting full I take them to the bank and deposit them!!

I don't get to keep it. My wife always steals it.

Put it in a cup and change it. Got to say, since working on this website my perspective of a penny on the floor has changed.

We just throw it in a giant pickle jar and forget about it for a year or two. Then take it to the bank and use their free change counter and put it in the savings. I really adds up. Neither one of us ever touch it except to dump more change in it. Ever so often one of us goes around to the vehicles and bring all the change we have dumped in the console and put it up too, But usually use it for garage sales.

Bank of america used to have a program where they would round up your charge amount and deposit it into a savings account which is where most change should be.  :)

I used to participate in a program like that at my bank but my bank accounts were compromised and I never set it back up.  Lately I've been throwing my pennies in a big crown bank that I have in my bedroom and my change just sits in my wallet until I have to buy something that's less than a dollar or if the change is something annoying like $.12.

I save all my change in a giant jar.  Once it's filled I will do something special with it...maybe give it to someone who could use a little financial boost or buy a new Dooney and Bourke handbag.

I have a large glass jar on my dresser. My husband and I throw all our spare change in it. We save it for a special night out.

I save my change for a month and then slowly deposit it into my checking account or try to exchange it for larger bills.  So many banks charge a percentage if you bring a large amount of change into the bank. I don't think that this is a good thing if all of the money is going into your account.  Banks make enough money from so many sources. Why do they have to penalize those that are living day by day and from one penny to the next?  My bank account is free if you use the debit card five times. So I go to the grocery store every first of the month and make five-eleven cent purchases to avoid the crazy banking 'privilege' fees that they charge.

Right now I am saving it for laundry day.  My dryer is on the fritz, so I wash and then take everything over to dry it.     My dryer is one of those things my husband says, I know what the problem is, it will take my just 5 minutes to fix it.  Meanwhile, I have been going to the laundry for 6 weeks.   LOL

My daughter has a pet pig so we use the spare change in the piggy bank to buy the pig food and the rest is saved.

I put my change in a jar and  save it for a rainy day. I had enough to pay for a minor car repair one time I think it was around $65.
