I throw all my change in a cup and when it gets full I put it in the bank.

I have a big glass jar that I fill up with all of my spare change. At the end of the year, I roll all of the coins and cash it in at the bank. That's where my holiday money comes from :)

I like this idea a LOT!

My husband puts spare change in a bowl on top of the fridge.  When it gets full, I just take it to the bank and cash it.  It can be $10-$20.  BUT, if I put it in a larger container and waited til the end of the year like you suggest, I imagine I could have a nice "Chunk of Change"!

For me, I spend the change in my wallet.

I save any spare change in a big Winnie the Pooh bank. When it gets full I'll roll the coins and take it the bank. Sometimes I'll go to a coinstar and cash out there if I have to use the money for groceries.

I have a large apple cider bottle that when full yields $250 - $300. It takes a long time but is worth the wait!

I love having spare change. Just the feeling of it makes me feel richer! I use it in 2 ways though. Every time I go over to my nephews house (he is 2 1/2 years old) I go into his bedroom and drop off all the change I have in my on me. On a regular basis I have a mini bank machine at home that I dump my change into. It sorts out all the change into slots and tells me when I have enough to roll up. I put the rolled up ones aside and cash them in when there's enough to spoil myself with. Like on a pair of shoes or a movie and dinner night out ;)
