I usually go with Pizza for the main course and snacks such as chips, salsa, brownies, M&Ms extra.  There are some other options too -- such as large party subs, or Arbys to has catering with tubs of roast beer.  If I lived in a warmer area (I live in Wisconsin) I may do a grill out.

Just the  3 of us this year so it was mini pizzas, dip and chips and a meat and cheese platter w/ ritz crackers. Hubby will be snacking for a week. I will be grazing off the veg. platter.

We had tons of food last night... Wings, nachos with Velveeta dip, rueben dip, Wheat Thins with crab & cream cheese dip, veggies & relish trays, & deviled eggs... I made some Not So Sloppy Joes; basically sloppy joes that are then wrapped in those refrigerated biscuit dough, made like a turnover. They were really good fresh out of the oven, but they cooled down quickly and since we baked instead of fried the wings, the oven had to be used for the wings letting the Joes cool down too much. Plus I couldn't pack enough filling in the dough, so it seemed a little too much bread. On the good side, I had way too much of the Joes meat-filling (even though I made 8 cans of the biscuit worth of the turnovers) so I'll have true Sloppy Joes for supper tonight (and prob'ly the next few days too)
