Am I weird?
I can't stand in a room alone without any music or TV on!!

  What is this a lack of sensory stimulation or is this sensory deprivation. 
 Meditate a little while you are alone.    :BangHead:works for me, but one never know does one.....

that's not weird to me. most of the time i have noise in the background tv ,music etc. however, there are times when I enjoy peace and quiet too.;

Yes. Its quite possible that you're weird. But our family motto is "weird is good."  So you're okay.  My parrot prefers to have noise in the house. Unfortunately, if I don't provide it, he will.

I don't think your weird! I like to listen to the tv or music for noise!

I wouldn't be willing to judge that behavior as weird; however, I think it can be very therapeutic to learn to tolerate and appreciate silence.

i don't think you're weird. I too like to have the tv or radio on especially when house cleaning.  But there are times when I do need a little peace and quite...that's when i go to the library.

No, not strange at all.  Being the youngest of 7 kids, I guess I grew up in a house with so many siblings and their friends and aunts, uncles, cousins by the dozens, always in and out that there was never a dull moment in the house.  So now I guess that's the way I am, too.  If there is not a hundred things going on at once it's not normal.

No, I don't think you are weird.  I can be in rooms with zero outside noise, but I enjoy a soft background music most of the time.

It depends what you mean by 'can't'.  Weird is all in the eye of the beholder anyway.  We all have things about us that seem weird to others and they probably have things about them that we think is weird.  To each their own.

It definitely isn't weird you have a lot of company. Honestly I like things quiet most of the time. I have a difficult time differentiating sounds from each other so if music is on and someone is talking to me. I have a really hard time understanding either. I really dislike noisy places for these reasons as well. When it is quiet I feel like I can finally hear myself think.

Not only do you not sit in a room, but it cannot be quiet. In my book, yes that is wierd.

I'm with everybody else YOU ARE NOT WIERD! I always have the TV on even if I'm useing the computer or doing something else. My TV is always on. It's the first thing that gets turned on in the morning and the last thing at turns off. I can't go to sleep if I don't have the TV on, I put it on sleep mode and it turns off buy its self. SO DON'T FEEL THAT YOU ARE WIERD MOST OF US TO IT.

I don't think its weird   , to me silence seems overbearing. It presses in on me. I have to have music on all the time lol

No, you're not weird.  Silence can be golden, but for me it's hard to sleep if it's totally silent so I leave my fan on at night.
