no it isnt weird i enjoy watching tv or listening to music if i am on my computer also. It makes it seem like you are not alone

Every once and a while I turn off the TV, computer, music, etc. and it feels really weird. We get so used to having noise until complete quiet just doesn't seem right.  But it is good to just be alone with your thoughts every now and then.

If that makes you weird then you have a lot of company, me included - always play music while I'm on the computer and if I didn't play music I would watch tv because I don't like the quiet so there you go (in fact even if I were lying on the couch reading a book I would still have music on or the tv)

I don't think you're weird although, I don't share your need for noise.  My husband leans more toward your side.

Nope, not weird at all.  We all have grown accustomed to hearing some type of noise around us and when it's too quiet, our minds start conjuring up noises to hear.

No...not weird at all.  I like things serene...no background noise.  My husband on the other hand will have a tv on in our bedroom and won't be in there for hours.  It drives me crazy.  However when I"m shopping in a wal-mart I prefer the music to be playing opposed to the silence a few of there stores do in Illinois.

I do not think that is weird. Sometimes we have a need for things that may seem unhealthy to most but what is a positive thrive for others. I like Burn Notice and when they go on break and I can not see this show for months I fill my showtimes with other things (example). Maybe you need a new hobby or begin new ventures on something.
