Rebekah,
Every day that American Pastor Saeed sits in Iran's Evin Prison represents a potential death sentence.
Fox News described Evin Prison like this: "Beatings, torture, mock executions and brutal interrogations are the norm at Evin prison, where for four decades the anguished cries of prisoners have been swallowed up by the drab walls of the low-slung lockup in northwestern Tehran."
Thanks to you, however, our government is finally starting to mobilize. Senator John Kerry, just before his confirmation as Secretary of State, issued a clear and personal call for the release of Pastor Saeed, a U.S. citizen.
Now is the time to call for an international response. Our petition demands that the international community stand up for human rights and demands that Iran comply with treaties it voluntarily and willingly signed.
Your voice helped free Pastor Youcef. Your voice can help free Pastor Saeed. Act now.
Sign the Petition to Save Pastor Saeed from an Iranian Prison.
