Do You Prefer A Dvd, Blu Ray, Or Another Way Of Watching Movies ? Ex. Online, Paid Movie Service. etc..

I Have Dvds right now, but I Want To Get A Blu ray  . Not Too Crazy About Movie Services. I Had One Before And It lasted 3 or 4 Months.

Looking at BluRay players partly just to get the WiFi.

Nothing like watching on a 70 ft screen though so that is still my preference especially for really cinamatic movies like the "Hobbit", 3D and some of the Disney animal ones.

Right now I prefer DVD's.  I will probably switch to Netflix or something similar when the internet gets significantly faster in a few years.  The cable companies are going to be hurting for cable tv subscribers in the near future, that's for sure.

i'm sticking with dvds. see no reason to upgrade to anything else. My internet doesn't move all that fast so i'm not considering online movies.

model dvd player that plays both vhs & dvds.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I have both DVD and Blue Ray's, but I almost never watch any of them after the first time.   So now I usually use on demand or my newly aquired netflix

Last year my brother schooled me on the Micca player. It's a portable file player that plays video or music files straight from a hard drive and it's just a little bigger than a deck of cards, so you can put it anywhere. That's mostly what I use these days. It plays all kinds of files, including MKV, which is what Blu-Ray files are. It's a lot easier because you don't have to deal with scratched discs or the bulk of storing all those discs. On a 500 gb hard drive you can store maybe 350 movies, plus maybe 3 0r 4 thousand songs.

I used to like watching DVD's or just waiting to watch movies on HBO or some other movie channel! But now that I got a Blueray player nothing can beat watching a movie on that!!
